Swamy’s Group of Schools adorned a festive look and buzzed with activity as the students celebrated Navaratri at its campuses. Golu was celebrated and dolls were arranged according to tradition and religious faith. This year’s theme “Krishna Leela” inspired the celebrations. Teachers and students sang hymns and recited slokas praising Goddesses Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswathi. Following the Golu decoration, cultural programmes like music, dance, and drama were organised from the 4th to the 6th of October. The event began with the school choir “Shanmukhapriya” performing bhajans. Two hilarious drama performances by Mr.T V Varadharajen & team and Mr.Maadhu Balaji & team entertained the audience, followed by a Dance drama on the final day by Smt.Nandhini Suresh & team. These events added a diverse and cultural dimension to the celebration.
Here's a brief glimpse of the celebration.
