Swamy’s School organised a field trip for Class IV students to "FarmGuru" in Redhills, Athur Village. The trip was planned to expose the students to the world of sustainable agriculture and farming techniques.
At FarmGuru, students embarked on a journey through lush fields, learning directly from experienced farmers about the science and art of agriculture. They participated in hands-on activities, such as planting seeds and understanding crop cycles. The students also explored organic farming methods and learned how these practices contribute to environmental sustainability.
The trip offered a unique opportunity for students to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications. They discovered the importance of biodiversity, soil health, and the role of agriculture in daily life. The students’ enthusiasm was palpable as they engaged with each task, eager to understand the processes that bring food from farm to table. The students returned with a newfound respect for farmers and an eagerness to share their experiences.
