Swamy's School organised a samskara event with the theme "Go Vandanam", which means showing reverence to the animal kingdom. All religions of India – Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism – stand for reverence and protection of cow symbolic of human relation with animals. The Rig Vedic hymns speak about the safety of cows, extol cows as symbols of wealth and compare them with sacred river goddesses. Indian society reveres the cow as a Gomata. The event was conducted in association with IMCTF, and the students participated in various activities such as offering flowers, singing songs, and displaying thematic posters to demonstrate their respect for the animal kingdom.
